Teresa L. Hite began her career with Vernon Manor Children's Home in the housekeeping and laundry department, in 1982. Since April 1982, she has held positions in laundry, housekeeping, activities and nursing as a C.N.A. She has functioned as the Food Service Director since 1986.
Teresa earned her Certified Dietary Manager Certificate in 1986, her Clinical Nutrition Certification in 1991 and became a Certified Food Protection Professional in 1998.
Teresa has been married to Dennis Hite since May 1976. Dennis owns and operates Village Auto Sales LLC in North Manchester, Indiana. He has been in the auto industry for over 25 years.
They have 1 daughter Angela, who is a stay-at-home mom. Angie and her husband Al have three beautiful children, Collin, Aliyah and A.J.
 Born in Wabash, Teresa has been a native of Wabash County all of her life. She loves spending time with her grandchildren, traveling and camping in their motor home! Other hobbies include cooking, crocheting, computers, working out and walking.

It is so rewarding; doing something you know that you have been called to do. I feel that I have made a difference in the lives of these residents, and I KNOW they have made a difference of mine. I truly love these children and know I have purpose here at Vernon Manor".
