Suzanne began her employment at Vernon Manor Children's Home January 6, 2001 in the Activity department. She remained in that department for one year then was promoted to her present position.
Suzanne worked with the Community Access Program for 1 1/2 years when she received training in Conflict Management, Aggression Management, Sign Language, Dementia, Head injury, CPR and First Aid. She is also a Certified Nursing Assistant and has taken classes at Ivy Tech State College in Business Management.
Suzanne states she has one "great" son and two beautiful grandchildren, plus more than 110 children here at work. She also said her family at home consisted of three lazy old cats.
She is a member of the Emmanuel Free Will Baptist Church. She is active in the Women for Mission group, works in the nursery, Vacation Bible School.
Born in Wabash, Indiana, she moved to Port Charlotte, Florida for ten years, and then moved back to Wabash to stay.
