 Kelly is our Social Service Director at Vernon Manor Children's Home. Kelly shares that she became interested in people with Special Needs when she was in high school where she was a HUGGER for the Special Olympics. She then worked at Fort Wayne Developmental Center for ten and a half years as an ADL (Activities of Daily Living) Coordinator. After her marriage ended she moved back to Wabash to be close to her family. Employed by Carey Services (Vernon Manor's Day Services provider) Kelly became involved with Vernon Manor Children's Home. After working for Carey Services for three years she hired in full time at Vernon Manor as our Social Service Director. She has also functioned as interim QMRP.
"I have a daughter Heather who attends Manchester College. I'm involved with my church as a teacher, a member of the Nurture Committee, and sing in the choir. I also love to read, anything to do with water (I'm a summer person) and spending time with family and friends."
